Odometer ready on new delivery

I noticed they put 15 miles on the paperwork. I will take delivery in 3 days. However i remember when I called yesterday to set up the delivery I specifically asked for the odometer reading and they told me 3 miles. Is the 15 mile the standard odometer reading Tesla out on all new vehicles ready for delivery?

Like a lot of other manufacturers, nothing different here. They plug in a typical average number for delivery and try to be a little bit conservative.

Oh, and to add, when I got my last 3 cars, two of them indicated 10 miles on the "initial paperwork", and one indicated 15. At delivery, the mileage was updated on the final receipt and they were all between 3 to 6 miles.

I was about to ask this question and thanks to @stlgrym3 for posting this. My paperwork was done the other day and I noticed 15 miles as well. Thanks for clearing the confusion.

My MYLR came in this week. The lady who handled my delivery told me the paperwork normally says 15 miles. New cars will always have 15 miles or less. Mine was actually 6 miles.
