SS Customs just finished a one-of-a-kind Color Change Vinyl Wrap on this Tesla Model 3!

SS Customs Vehicle Enhancement Studio
A very special client of ours was tired of losing his 2018 Tesla Model 3 at the Bay Area Tesla Supercharger Stations. He contacted us and asked how he could make his Tesla so unique, that he would never mistake it again.

We painted his calipers yellow, and replaced the Tesla with his last name! But wait, there’s more…we started off the build with a full color change vinyl wrap using a matte finish KPMF film called Siberian Pearl White.

We also performed a partial chrome delete so he could have the best of both worlds; think classy meets sporty.

He opted for custom wheels, so we found a great set of Vorsteiners specifically made for Model 3’s. As far as we know, this is one of the first Tesla’s to sport Vorsteiner custom forged wheels!

For an added performance boost, we installed Unplugged Performance lowering springs. Unplugged Performance offers a few other performance enhancements for all of you speed demons out there.

To protect the vinyl wrap and ensure it will last for years to come, he installed a Ceramic Pro Ceramic Coating over the vehicle.

Color Change Vinyl Wraps come in thousands of color variations and finishes, provide full body paint protection, and are easily removable. To top it off, they come with an industry standard 3-year manufacturer warranty and can be ceramic coated for an extended lifespan.

A wrap is a large vinyl graphic or decal. It is applied directly over the original paint of the vehicle. The application of the wrap allows you to change the vehicle's appearance in a very short period of time and in turn, allows you to remove the wrap, returning the vehicle back to its original condition if necessary.

How much does vinyl wrapping cost?
If you want a higher-quality paint job, it will cost you anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 or more. The prices of professionally applied car wraps range from $4,000 to $10,000. Note: The prices above assume a full paint or wrap.

Does vinyl wrap damage car paint?
Not only will a wrap not damage the painted surface of your vehicle, if the paint is factory paint the wrap will protect that surface and preserve the quality of the paint underneath. If removed correctly, the vinyl won't leave any residue or peel any paint or clear coat with it.

Company History
Established in 2005, SS Customs started as a division of a sign company. In 2011 the division split and opened a Bay Area vehicle enhancement studio of its own in Redwood City, expanding its services in the custom automotive and restyling market. Today it is growing strong and is known nationwide as one of the premier high-end custom automotive shops in Silicon Valley. SS Customs is currently the reigning “Wrap Like a King West Coast Region” winners and is the only company to be a Paint is Dead certified shop in California among other note-able accomplishments.
