Ontario EVIP rebates update

I called Ministry of Finance this morning on my rebate status (Delivery was May 25, submitted rebate forms May 28), it's been approved and will be deposited into my bank account within the next 1-3 weeks.

Wonder what the processing rate is . It's getting close though, I hope the early Junes get processed before the holiday and New Year break.

I just called and, after pulling some metaphorical teeth, got confirmation that my 04 June 2018 application is "confirmed and in the system" but not yet processed.

Not true.

The number you call goes to a service ontario call centre and not to the individual(s) who are processing the claim.

Exactly correct. I asked the nice lady. They have access to many programs and can see what stage your specific application is in. Mine was the same as @navguy12 ‘confirmed and in the system’.
Appears late May applications are being processed now so they should be getting into the huge early June group soon. My guess for my June 5’th is early next year for the actual deposit.

Since I got mine 2 weekends ago, I'm guessing they run a batch direct deposit job every 2 weeks or twice a month on the weekends.

Hmm... I didn't see any money yet and they approved mine on the 12th. So by their statements I should see it by Nov 2nd. If the 2 week cadence is true, it'll be a week later than their expectations. Oh well, I'm accustomed to waiting.

Nothing for me either. I sent mine in may 21. They said it was approved Oct 12 and I should have it latest Nov 2nd via direct deposit.

I'm with TD. I wonder if they don't process direct deposit on weekends.
