I have lurked here for a while and I haven't seen or heard of my issue occurring before. I ordered MY on 7/29 and had an expected delivery date of 9/1 and scheduled pickup for 9/5 because I was out of town for a business trip. Absolutely no issues there from Tesla. Then on 8/28 get a text really late evening saying the delivery is early and they automatically scheduled pickup on 8/30. Get a call 8/29 asking if the new appointment works. Tell them no but that I will be home earlier than planned and can pick up the car 9/2 or 9/3. They say they can't hold a car that long and that they can't hold it from one month into the next and proceed to unmatch me from my VIN effectively restarting my wait. This is very frustrating to me.
