Thanks for confirmation. where was your car shipped from? They are telling me it will $2K transportation fee. It is not showing up on my purchase agreement online. I have not yet picked up the car.

I have seen the extra transportation fee on new inventory cars that were outside my region. If the car is in your region, you only pay the $1125 destination charge which is the same for all of them.

FWIW, I did speak with Tesla CS, and they confirmed the transport fee is in addition to destination, as others have mentioned.

Also, if anyone is on the mainland and looks at a Hawaii inventory car, Tesla no longer will transport cars off island, at any cost. Just in case anyone was curious.

I don't know the location of the car yet. It said US other I believe when I am ordering. I will check with the DS and will update you.

Its shipped from Washington state to Texas. No shipping charge.

not yet. Tentative date is 18th. I confirmed the 0 shipping cost with DS through email.
