Well…Tesla is already up $10-20K over their original price. So I guess start there?

No. You brought it up. I wasn’t even thinking about that as over msrp until you mentioned it. I guess it’s a market adjustment.

Since Tesla owns and operates its own dealerships, manufacturer price increases can be viewed similarly to the ADM you referred to.
As far as the cars being offered on sites like eBay, those are private parties trying to capitalize on initial demand and inventory shortages. This sort of thing has happened with other makes over the decades e.g., back when the Mazda Miata first came out over 30 years ago, private party resellers were seeking and getting thousands over sticker for their used Miatas. The frenzy eventually died down and it will happen with the MS Plaid as well.
A variety of new existing inventory MS Plaids have started to become available recently at Tesla but they tend not to last long in the current market environment.
