Own a M3, thinking of adding a Jag F-Type R but now considering a plaid., thoughts?

So I've had, and appreciated, my 2020 M3 for 62k mi. I didn't think I wanted to be done with noises of a v8 and the Jag is at the top of my list. The F-Type R being a weekend car. That is until I noticed the falling of the plaid pricing. It's now $30k cheaper. I realize I need to test drive both back to back and maybe a few times but call me intrigued.

All along I thought to own the F-Type forever and I know it would be a lot of fun to drive but the plaid.

Anyone else had a similar quandary?

Have M3, drove plaid, drove M3P, then drove MYP. Bought MYP, love it

At least test drive the R - I sold mine after 4 great years with it and still regret it - miss that V8. It was completely problem free for 4 years. Great car. I'm in the market for a Plaid now but hoping for a front camera early 24...
