When you are trying to set a record number to be below 10.78 sec, every little bit counts ;-)Launch control helps. It wasn't run on this run. P100D was below 1.6 60' in later runs with launch control on.
That best run was using launch mode, but battery was only 85%.
Dual Mobile HPWC to the track next week....
From Tesla Racing channel:
yup, that's why the P100DL should be faster.Didn't the TRC P90DL V3 get 10.805?
Next time, try to remove all the unnecessary items in the car, like heavy charging cables, and any easily removable stuff, like panel at the trunk or personal items etc. And also make sure all races have the windows up to reduce aero drag. Probably will shave 1/10 of a second. Just a suggestion.Launch control helps. It wasn't run on this run. P100D was below 1.6 60' in later runs with launch control on.

yup, 19 inch wheel and no panoroof, but it does have the ultra high fidelity sound system (extra weight from more speakers and subwoofer)And this P100DL also has the lighter wheels and no panoroof, right?
P100DL is always faster than P90DL v3 in ANY speed as you can see from the performance numbers I posted before. Was the TRC P90DL power ever logged? Still wonder if it could really be an accidental P100D. The performance of their P90D and P100D are really really close.
Cool, it looks like either 10.78 or 10.79 second...Just posted on the facebook tesla racing channel page. Part of it is blacked out but just enough to see it was 10.7 something:View attachment 196060
