I'm jealous. Model S owner since 2013. Reserved online 3/31/16, ordered 6/26/18 Blue, White interior, Performance, Aeros, FSD.Not a peep from Telsa since 6/27 when my edit button went away.
I’m in the Charlotte and Raleigh forums too, got call on Friday it’s delayed........no word since. Have VIN, have MVPA finalized, have loan ready to go, but no delivery date now......
I ordered my performance 3 with white interior, not performance wheel upgrade. Called one week later and told to schedule delivery. Just picked up today. 3 weeks between order and delivery for first time buyer and in Seattle.
Does anyone know if getting insurance filed early (before vin or delivery date) helps any ? Same question for financing (any chance Dealer financing goes first or maybe cash)?Haven’t heard from TSL since ordered so I’m a little blind as to what comes next.

I haven't seen any correlation between insurance or financing options expediting the situation.
If you complete your insurance section and select cash it'll show as all the steps being completed and you'll get a new page without an edit button but it doesn't seem to move you forward any.
From poking around in various threads/forums, it appears that the change is being applied to (nearly?) all outstanding performance orders. Obvious push for Q3 profitability is obvious.
I just got an email saying mine is on the way too!

That's a great turnaround time lol. They are clearly sending all P3D to the front of the line. They better do a good job manufacturing my car though, I better not have any missing clips and I know to look for them now
