Ever since I have owned my model S (almost 2 years) I have noticed that the paint on the front bumper is starting to peel in some locations. The car is a 2017 MS which was purchased from the used Tesla website back in August of 2020.
There is some peeling near the edge of the wheel arches, Tesla “T”, and fog lights. The one near the “T” had began to bubble, but was dissipated after a detail last December.
I even showed this to a mobile tech who had came to fix some other things, was surprised since he has never seen anything similar before (after working with Tesla for 10 years) and scheduled a service appt for the end of march.
This is definitely not normal, and I hope that it is covered under the Limited Lifetime Paint Warranty.
Has anyone seen or had this issue?
