Parking lot collision insurance options

Hi, my car was hit in a parking lot (not at fault, recorded). I got their insurance information.

The insurance agent advised a repair shop that isn't on the approved body shop list. Is that okay? Their email says that I can choose my auto repair shop.

I'm in Toronto. They suggested CSN 427 Auto Collision in Etobicoke (395 Evans). Is that a good place for Tesla Model 3 bodywork? Should I go elsewhere? Any help is much appreciated.

My experience, the better shops are not on the approved list because they don't cut corners to save money.

I ended up taking it to Lyon's. They're charging insurance 3.5k, buffing/repairing the front bumper, but replacing the fog lights and bracket.
