Part of charging port red?

Noticed this today when going to charge my Model S, part of the charging port is red instead of white?

Is this just something I’ve never noticed?

I’m getting service done tomorrow under the $200 ESA for some other stuff (door handle, headlights, trunk strut, airbag recall) so if something needs to be replaced would of course want to get it done under the $200 deductible all at once than a separate visit.

This happened to me recently. It turned out to be a loose connection at the adapter/charging cable connection. The T in Tesla was blinking red and turned to green when I pushed everything together. I had just finished installing the cable holders.
