Passenger side mirror repair

Hello, seeking help and input. I broke the base/black part of my white model Ys passenger side mirror. White cover and mirror itself are still good. can I get it repaired without buying full assembly from Tesla for more than 1K?

Did you break just the black cap under the mirror, or the arm assembly itself?

If it is the arm, it's sold as a whole unit, but you can find salvage ones on ebay, for example. Contact Tesla service and find out the correct part number and price for your VIN (there are 2 different part numbers for this mirror), then shop that part number on ebay to compare the salvage price vs new price from Tesla.
