people with experience with cling vynal for HOV stickers

I don't use them very often so would like to be able to take them on and off. Will they stay on at 85 MPH

Yes.
I bought the simple static cling vinyls on amazon - copied my HOV lane stickers, trimmed it pretty tight and stuck it on. Its been there for at least 6 months. No issues when washing or driving... 85 yeah, they stay (or at least mine has)

What about a small piece of a PPF like xpel? Anyone have a source? There’s a guy on eBay selling it by the foot.

Thanks CaliMS, when you say you copied the HOV stickers, do you mean made copies? I was thinking of sticking the HOV stickers directly on the vinyls. Am I missing something?

This works fine. Just ensure that you keep the vinyl clean if/when you remove the stickers, and the painted surface equally so.

yes. I photocopied them (might have even adjusted the coloring). I keep the originals in the car in case I run into an issue.

I used this laser printer label. Works fine with copiers but you need to do some trial and error to get the color and contrast right. Stays on the car for years but unlike the original it can still be easily taken off cleanly when you want to.
