Text from yesterday said tentative delivery is set for 8/29. Got a text today saying delivery is pushed back until 9/4. Not too upset about it. I’m just glad I don’t have much longer to wait (hopefully). I’m in Colorado.
Just got an update text today letting me know that my delivery location has been changed from Devon, PA to Cherry Hill, NJ. Not sure why the change happened, but the delivery date itself didn't change. Honestly I feel like Cherry Hill is actually closer to Philly itself, or at least easier to get to, so no complaints here! I just spoke with a Tesla delivery specialist over the phone and he said my M3P is currently on a train to Chicago, where it will stay for a day or two for inspection, and then loaded onto a truck for final delivery to Cherry Hill. He tried to ping my car since it's been asleep but wasn't able to get it to wake up. I mentioned that my delivery location online still says Devon, PA and he said that shouldn't be a problem since everything in their system is showing that it's on its way to Cherry Hill and should arrive there 48 hours prior to my scheduled delivery date.

This car needs to get here fast! I have all the accessories that I wanted either ordered or already in hand. Tesbros chrome delete in TeslaRoj Dark Satin Gray, the flash drive for Sentry mode/Dashcam, a set of TSportline TSS wheel and tire set for the winter, and a set of jack pads. All I need now is the car lol.

hmm, same configuration as me. I wonder what order they're assigning vins considering we're probably picking up 1-2 hours away from each other on the east coast and I ordered a week before you.

Decided to give it a try and did the chat. Told me I have a vin assigned! This is what they told me.
“Congratulations! Your order has been assigned a VIN. Once your vehicle approaches its final transit leg, you should receive a text message with instructions for scheduling your delivery appointment. Your VIN will be reflected in your Tesla account once your delivery appointment has been scheduled.”
this is very exciting, finally some movement!

great to hear! I think 2 days after the VIN assignment I got the text to schedule delivery. picking up 9/12

Just got a call from my SA to confirm that I got my vin. She said that it is still in California and just got done from production. Once it gets closer to PA I will get a text to schedule delivery and she said ETA right now is 9/19 but could be sooner, after that she texted my VIN! Very happy now that I know I have an actual car coming!
