Sto_, from what I understand, the general consensus from several Tesla owners reaching out to their delivery specialists is that the vehicle will come with the newer grey wheels and the price will be adjusted back to the original $6k provided you ordered before the price hike.

Talked to some sales guy today that seemed pretty straight forward. He said we will get the original prices and they were working a fix he just doesnt know any more.
Regarding grey wheels he said if they still have any silver in stock they will try and put those on orders prior to the refresh.

my just general intuition says that if they have any silver in stock those will probably go to china and europe would be my guess so this could work out for those of us who want the grey.

Same issue as everyone else recently. Price adjusted up $1,000 and now shows grey wheels. I hope I get those grey wheels! I don't really care about the price increase, although that's a pretty strange move by a company.

I was told the same thing, but I don’t think these guys really have a clue on what’s going on. The top down communication at Tesla clearly sucks.

im wondering then if those of us that want the gray wheels and are willing to pay $1000 more should edit our order? Obviously before Nov 1st if we also have FSD?

Got off the phone with Tesla. They said our orders will be modified before delivery to reduce by $1,000. They said Tesla will use their current inventory of silver wheels, and once they are used up, all performance packaged from then on will utilize the grey wheels. So most people will have grey wheels but not pay for them.

When I go to "edit" my order, it just automatically shows that I selected the gray wheels even though I didn't. They modified my selection .

exactly what the sales dude told me over the weekend. Sounds like some level of consistency here which us good. Now we just have to basically gamble on which wheels we get though :/

What date did you order? Most of us seem to be hearing its basically a gamble on whether they have inventory of old wheels or not when yours is built.
10/3 M3P W/W FSD. How about you? I see you're in AZ too, I set up to pick up at scottsdale location

Ordered an M3P on 10/9, spoke with SA today, they got notification from corporate that vehicles will have new wheels, but will get a $1,000 discount. Dude had to go ask for like 10 minutes, so.... Not holding this 100% true, but seems legit. The wait continues.....
