It is hard to wait, but I had to convince myself to get over the big hump of just purchasing the car, so still think this delay is worth it. However, my expectations were unreasonably set the day I entered the order on the website that still just showed 2 weeks.
Just watched Empire Strikes Back with the symphony last night, it reminded me again how important patience can be. They will push to get cars out before the quarter end, and we'll get our cars sooner than later

You had me in the first half. Not going to lie. Oh well. Time to go back to my EV driving game. It's the one way I can get some speed and fun in a battery operated machine.

I play assetto corsa on my sim often and I recently downloaded a tesla (model s) mod for it to get my fix (didnt help)

I got an email yesterday too for the orientation so I responded asking for info. It basically matches what you all have said but the ordering of words in the the sentence were interesting:

"As of right now, we are expecting these deliveries to be hosted around the the 3rd or 2nd weeks of December"

is that a, expect the third, if we're quick, the 2nd? hahah

Ha. You can bet I'll want to get anything with a M3P in it. It's a far stretch to call it an EV game, but I've been playing Death Stranding. It does have solar powered EVs with a player created supercharger network, so that's what is helping me along for the time being.

When do these orientations normally get offered? I haven't heard anything from Tesla except for when I reach out or when I receive an e-mail telling me to buy before year's end(Yeah I've been trying).

Can someone please remind me how to change the color of my M3P? All is see is the link to cancel my order on my Tesla Account page...which is not what I want to do. I figure still I have time to put in that color change in without affecting my place in production. Ordered 10-5.

if u already filled ur info, you have to contact your SA.

i realized the issue with this. You do not have the request a change button unless you have uploaded all your payment info

Honestly I don’t really care about something that can be fixed I just want my car lol.

the good news is just as far as my logic goes if the last cars were made as M3P that means all they have to do is VIN for the US market and get the M3P out of the way first then go SR then LR I would guess.

Same build as me Joe minus the FSD. We shall see. My SA emailed me today and said "Sorry, no VINs for performance yet. The new performance vehicle is taking longer than the other trims. "

Doesn't seem like an official correspondence from the factory, so who knows!
