Perry, Florida supercharger being ICED!

Here's a Pic of the supercharger. If at all possible, try and avoid this. It's getting really bad there.

Just to be clear... do the red signs in front of each parking space indicate that it is ONLY for EV charging? Some places are signed so that general parking is allowed.
The sign says..... 30 minute general parking.... The problem is, they go out of their way to park there. The parking lot is almost empty and there is plenty of parking. They are doing this to really get under our skin. They go into the restaurant and spend a good hour there. It's NOT because of a lack of parking. There are plenty of spaces closer to the restaurant.

Not sure about FL parking laws on private property but if it's signed for a maximum of 30 minutes, then there should be some sort of legal action that can take place if that time limit is exceeded (i.e., fines or towing). Perhaps you can talk to the restaurant management and see if they can assist in either changing the sign (EV charging ONLY) or enforcing whatever laws apply (assuming that there are any).

edit: Maybe this applies: https://www.flsenate.gov/laws/statutes/2012/366.94 (Sections (3)(a) and (b)):

"(a) It is unlawful for a person to stop, stand, or park a vehicle that is not capable of using an electrical recharging station within any parking space specifically designated for charging an electric vehicle.
(b) If a law enforcement officer finds a motor vehicle in violation of this subsection, the officer or specialist shall charge the operator or other person in charge of the vehicle in violation with a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as provided in s. 316.008(4) or s. 318.18."

There is also this: Legislation Reference - Reserved Parking for Plug-In Vehicle Charging - pluginsites
which states a $250 fine for ICEing but it is not specified if it applies to private property

In a town like Perry everyone fishes, hunts and prays together.

Getting a local law enforcement officer or parking enforcement (if they have one) to not laugh at you about this would be tough.

They are salt of the earth, work almost nonstop farming, building. It will be one of the last places on the planet to respect EV's.

So, avoid this stop if you possibly can.

Perry sounds like my kind of place. I respect EV's. Get a "local" Tesla club to do a gettogether at the site and educate. People like this do not respond to cramming. Go hunting or fishing with them. Good people - smart people - just EV stupid.
