Why must people critique when people are doing a service by posting a video??

If you're phone is upright when viewing it, isn't it in full screen? I'm not sure why you ask why people hate full screen.

If the second picture was taken in a landscape mode, front and the back side picture would in the frame...thus better picture.

I actually got chewed out for asking this question the other day on YouTube. Apparently it's Instagram's fault. People have the ability to shoot video for "Instagram stories", however the not-so-bright people who made this feature available only made it for portrait style shooting. There's no option for landscape. Thus we have all these little vid snippets in portrait style.
Now some people have actually found a solution to shoot video properly. But it's a bit of a chore and since people are impatient and lazy, they'll never do all that work to get proper video.

Hopefully Instagram will enable this feature soon and get rid of this portrait style shooting once and for all.

Hey, 1/2 of my industry still uses faxes. They're looking into some of this newfangled tech stuff, but I guess it just seems all too complicated for them.

I blame the user for using instagram if it's that crappy. The phone is capable of shooting and posting a perfectly fine video on its own.
