EVERY time I think I've settled on getting the Sport rims and getting them powder coated later, I see another one of these pictures that makes me doubt myself.

I'm going to get the 18" rims and see how it plays out. If I decide I want 19's I'll get them with Summer tires for about what the Sport rim upgrade costs.

that's what i heard. We might get those from the service centers or order them online. Hopefully they'll come with the car, otherwise i'd like to get mine the day i take delivery

EAP must be set to "curb wheels"

Moulded in rim protector on the Michelin tire didn't help much. The Conti's on the 19" LR have a great moulded in rim protector. More prominent.

Still, when it comes to curb vs. rubber, curb always wins I think the tires could have 1/2" rubber lip and my wife would still find a way to curb the wheels..

It's funny, the front is actually my favorite part. I love the slightly porche-esque design. The front reminds me of a shark or a manta ray.

Look at how much more of the steering wheel you can see on the 3. That makes for a lot of low front visibility.

...dare I say, almost "spaceship like".

The sad thing is, this isn't just a "bad photo", this is actually what the Model 3 looks like. Disproportionate in the name of rear passenger headroom, shaving off an extra .01 Cd, and of course making it look less desirable than the S.

Can't wait to see how hilarious Model Y looks if Model 3 is considered a "sedan" with its giant goofy-looking greenhouse that looks even taller than Model X's when relatively compared to the rest of the car.

Audi has had that design language for well over decade now. Audi grille is classy and refined, but I am biased as long time owner. However, the Lexus grilles on the other had are in a whole different league of ugliness. Beyond me who find those even remotely appealing. Likewise the Toyota ones are following that way as well.
