Hi all

Need some help on how to play music off of USB drive. The only options I see are: radio, phone, streaming, Spotify, caraoke.... but nothing for USB drive.

Any assistance would be helpful

Thanks
The option for the USB drive will appear on the audio sources drop down list once you insert the thumb drive into one of the front USB ports (In the Model Y the front USB-C port (the one closest to the driver) is by default connected to the wireless charging pad. The USB-A port will accept a standard USB thumb drive. The rear USB-C ports are only for powering/charging devices.

And if you want to use the USB flash to play music and store dash cam and sentry vids, then you need to format the flash with two partitions. Whichever partition has the Teslacam directory will be used for sentry and dash cam. The other partition can contain music. If you have a flash with one partition and put the Teslacam directory on it, any music on the drive will not be seen and the USB option won’t appear in the media source list.
