While driving with FSD beta 10.69.2 today, a minivan cut in between my car and the car ahead, then suddenly braked hard for traffic (PB paybacks are hell!) causing me to instinctively hit the brakes. I don't know what FSD beta would have done, but while I was braking hard, the AEB warning went off and the car took over, applying the brakes even harder. It was kind of strange feeling the brake pedal drop away under my foot.

The car came to a stop with room to spare. Fortunately, the car behind me was paying attention so all was good.

While I do believe I would have stopped the car safely on my own since I was already braking hard, it was good to know that AEB really does more than gripe at you!
