Lots of negative reviews of service centers, so I thought I'd throw this out. My wife ran her key fob thru the wash, and it quit. (Side gripe: why the hell aren't they waterproof???)
I called the Renton WA service center parts, and someone actually picked up the phone and helped. They had one in stock, so I ran there this afternoon. One of the techs linked the new fob to my vehicle right away despite them being pretty busy, so I didn't have to come back for a formal service appointment. Very nice people in the service center!
