Powder Coat Rims, Color/Finish - M3P+ Red Multi-Coat with Chrome Delete

My M3P arrives tomorrow, it's red multi-coat and I'm also doing Chrome Delete and tint. I need to decide on the rims between Black and Gun Metal as well as Gloss or Satin.

I was thinking gun metal satin. I attached a picture of one I found online, I think it looks good, but now also wondering if black/gloss will look best with Chrome delete.

Thoughts?

I also got a chrome delete and powder coated wheels. I’m sure gloss black will look good but I went with satin black in both cases and have no regrets. Only difference, my car is blue.

Looks like you got your rims coated or dipped. What did you end up with? Did you use Plasti Dip?

Is it graphite metalizer on top of gunmetal base? Looks good.

This looks nice. I have anthracite grey plus glossifier, RMC. It’s a bit darker I think.

Evo Grey, no clear coat. I do have more pics, I’ll upload some when i get to my computer. 100% happy!

Gloss Black looks the best. It is the deepest black and has a premium look.


Anything non glassy looks grey when the sunlight hits it in different angles. Also looks like plasti dip
