I tried to use my horn the other day and realized if you click the pad toward the bottom the horn does not beep. You have to use the top of the pad to get the horn to work? Is this normal or do I need to setup another service center visit?
I think we all had the experience of honking our horn for the first time at some inattentive drive on the road, only to realize that hitting the bottom of the horn does nothing. No idea why they designed it that way but yes that’s how it works.

I'd have to check, but in the hundreds of cars that I've driven, the ubiquitous ability to hit anywhere on the wheel is really rare. There are often some very specific areas in which it works and doesn't.

mine does not work when i press anywhere around the bottom. Never had another car like that but I also don't want to schedule an appointment for no reason.
I just had my horn switch replaced for a different reason, and I confirmed that there is no way for the horn to work by pushing just the bottom. Either side where the horn symbol is works. Dead center with enough force works. Just the bottom of the horn pad will never work due to the fact there is only a spring there with no contacts whatsoever.
