If I bring the model 3 to a halt by using the brakes in the last few yards, will the brakes stay on? Sounds a saft question I know, but picking up the M3P on Monday so would be good to know. I won't be using the 'HOLD' mode btw (not yet anyway)

Hold (the brakes keeping the car in hold when stopped) can be turned on in any of the driving modes- but requires more force on the pedal to engage if you're in creep mode.

Creep mode: hard press when stopped turns on hold
Roll mode: light press when stopped turns on hold
Hold mode: Hold autoengages if the car rolls/regens itself to a stop, or acts like roll mode if you manually stop it with brake pedal

The speedometer when you come to a stop will either display 0 or H. If it displays 0 and you are stopped, you will need to press the brake to engage brake hold.

Brake hold can be disengaged by either pressing a second time or by pressing the accelerator.
