It is probably the battery case expanding when the battery warms up? Usually during supercharging, elevation changes, etc. that works the battery harder. At least that is what mine does. It is not documented in the manual anywhere but Tesla told me it is a normal characteristic, lol. If it is normal, you would think they would note it in the manual so owners are aware instead of always checking the review to see if they ran over something...
 
It's totally temperature-related. You can do the same with a large steel sink in a cold place when you run hot water over it.

In fact, a Tesla driver has posted a video demoing this with a large sink, showing how it's the same sound they hear.
