    Hi All,

Does anyone know what is the expected loss of range (if any) going from the stock 18" Michelin All Season tires to a stickier summer tire like Michelin PS4S?

    Thanks!

Most previous threads I've seen seem to suggest a roughly 10% range hit... (which seems worthwhile for the ~20%+ reduction in stopping distance)

You can see how Tesla now calculates the eMPG for the EPA MY2020 ratings:
    Compare Side-by-Side

The LR AWD [w/18" aeros] at 280 W/Mi, whereas the Performance [w/20's] is 300 W/Mi. 7% more energy consumption from the wheel/tire combo.

Wow 10% is pretty significant, but I agree the stopping distance is probably worth it! Thanks for the info!
