Raven only charges at 48A...

My 2019 Model X performance is being charged by a Tesla Wall Connector, which is wired for 100 amp dedicated circuit and still only draws 48 amps. I can’t remember exactly how many amps my 2018 Model X Performance drew but I remember the charge time being twice as fast.

You must remember incorrectly. 2/3 is not equal to 1/2 ;-).

Tesla did not rename the X Raven, they simply updated parts.

New X is called Model X not Raven.

Really? I thought the "Raven" moniker was relative to the new drive train, which went into both. No?

Tesla redesigned the drive train and suspension, the name "raven" is what Tesla internally code worded the upgrades. But this was internally not out int he wild.

A new Model X or S is still called that, not RAVEN!

Agreed that the name hasn't changed. But often, I find it's nice to detail if a particular car is using the "raven" updated hardware or not. For example, things like how many MPH a particular wattage will provide varies depending on the hardware (which, prior to the raven update, was not a factor).

So... amongst us friends, calling it a Raven seems beneficial. But IRL, I simply call my car a "Tesla Model X".
