I'm in the same boat and didn't even finish honeymoon with my m3 and some ahole in uhau ok rear ended and damaged rear fender, tire, wheel, bumper, charge port door. To be honest I'm super pissed off at the notorious $24k damage. Have had owned many expensive cars and I bet you my $90k worth boxster would have cost 5-7 grands for tbe same damage. This is just ridiculous and a rip off in my opinion. No damage to battery at all. Tesla is great but God forbid if you get into accident, they will suck every ounce of blood to repair any body damage. Please don't bash me tesla fans. It's just a hard truth

And month and a half still no update as to when in the hell I get my car back. It's a freaking nightmare. Thanks musk !!

Hey, I feel your pain. Took me 5 months, 4 tow trucks, 2 body shops, a bankrupt dealership and $21,000 to get a Buick back …. Only to find a bent subframe.
So yeah, I totally understand the pain but it’ll be worth it. At least you’ll have a car you want afterwards!

I've mentioned before that I worked for a high-flying silicon valley tech company, and you learn about their thinking. One main thing I learned: They don't like to go back and fix things after making them. They just want to add new features and create new revenue streams with new products and services.

I can promise you that Musk is not working on solving the lead time for repairs, but if it makes you feel any better, he is working on launching Tesla insurance and power companies in other states.

I am in Boston area. I had the read end accident on Nov 11th and I am still waiting for parts, literally after 2+ months. I don't think the repair shops have these parts in stock at all. My list is ridiculously long and I don't see it repaired in a month or less. Good luck.
