Does anyone know if the rear seat -- latches -- in the up position? We travel in our MX with two large golden retrievers and wondered if the CT has the space for them with the seat up. Others have asked if the rear seat is removable, but haven't seen that question answered.

I can now confirm the seat latches when folded up or down. You pull the triangle strap to release the latch and the seat goes to an intermediate position. Then push the set up or down, where it latches in each position. The same pull strap releases when the seat is up or down.

It sure looks like it. No one seems to be holding it in this picture. The lower tray is an add on.

The rear seats stay up when folded up (not sure of the latching mechanism). Note in the picture above the tray is optional. Without it, the entire floor is flat- so great for storing large items. Also the rear doors open unusually wide to slide stuff in.

Anyone have a measurement door-to-door when the doors are closed? Thinking about a DIY cot for sleeping. From the photos here, it doesn't look like it will work with the seats up.

Also, what is the rear seat knee room when front seats are all the way back. Looks small in that video circulating from the YouTubers driving from Austin to Joshua Tree.
