Hi

Bit of a specific question this, but I was wondering - how secure are the side bolster pods that sit either side of the rear seats?

I’m talking about these things:

One of mine was removed to connect something to the 12v spot under the rear seats, and while that was being done I noticed that they aren’t really solidly secured to the car. There are 3 bits that hook into mounting points, and a single big clip at the top. When mounted in the car I can push on the bottom of mine and it moves a bit, making a noise.

Both sides are the same so I assume this is “normal”?

It seems like a really obvious place for rattles to occur? Am I missing something obvious about how these should be fitted so they are rigid?

Also, can anyone who has removed these to fit stuff tell me whether the big plastic clip at the top is supposed to attach to (and stay in) this trim, or the car itself?

Thanks!
