Rear wheel clattering and screaming

Went to back my Model 3 out of garage, loud clanging, screeching coming from left-right wheel, at even slowest speed, forward or reverse. Drove it back into garage, after making a video to send to Tesla Service. All Tesla is offering me is an appointment at their Danvers/Peabody service center—that’s over 100 miles away. I’m afraid to drive it 100 feet, much less 100 miles. Anyone else had this “event?”

I had a similar incident. Turned out it was a stone stuck in the dust shield. Danvers was great diagnosing and removing the stone, at no charge.

Thanks, "Woof." That may have been my problem, but I'll never know. This morning, I decided to just take the car our for a short drive and see what happened. Backing out of the garage, the scraping noise was very apparent, but within 100 meters of my house, the scraping noise stopped and never resumed. So, maybe I dodged this bullet...?
