EDD Timeline:

Delivery has been penciled in for this Thursday from 9am-6pm down at the Fremont factory. If that holds, it will be just over 6 weeks from initial order. And worth noting, I changed my order twice along the way. Once about 2 weeks in for the white interior, and then again ~4 weeks in for the MSM paint.

That throws out the theory that making changes puts you in the back of the line. I also changed about 2 weeks in. Ordered 7/3 and got my vin yesterday.

I just checked based on you saying this and my EDD improved as well. First time I have seen it move more than 1x in the morning. Was 08/23-09/12 this morning and now 08/06-08/22.

Yeah, I'd tend to agree. I've seen it posted quite a bit that you go to the back of the line, and maybe that is the case most of the time. However, that was not my experience.

Ordered a LR on 7/8 and after speaking with my SA I was told my estimated delivery was Oct 28-30, I switched to the Performance yesterday and am now showing expected delivery date of August 18 - September 7.

Originally had an order placed on 7/26 for a MYLR, Deep Blue Metallic, Black interior, no tow, no FSD, 5 seater, estimated delivery of November then shifted to December. I attempted to contact my advisor twice to switch to a Performance version and no response, so yesterday I ended up placing another order of the same car but the performance version. Today I have an EDD of 9/8 - 9/30. Why are advisors like this?

You don't. You can order the car through a SA at a store, or you can order yourself online. The advisors aren't paid commission and are just there to answer your questions. If you need help, contact your local store and an advisor there will assist you.

Awesome to see when you switch LR to P and the delivery update gets pull in so much. One of the main reasons got me to get a MYP is the shorten delivery timeline. Also, I wanted my own car too after I bought my wife the M3LR (hehe).
