Recent MYP Delivery Estimates

Awesome to see when you switch LR to P and the delivery update gets pull in so much. One of the main reasons got me to get a MYP is the shorten delivery timeline. Also, I wanted my own car too after I bought my wife the M3LR (hehe).

Congrats, let's see some pictures upon you take delivery. I have a black on order too!

Yeah I was telling myself...upgraded speed, brakes and calipers, wheels (probably will trade for 20s), spoiler, new projected headlights, and lowered suspension plus getting it produced quicker (than the LR) was big kicker for me haha

I hope to take delivery soon....! I can't wait, going to tint > ppf stealth wrap & ceramic coat it!

I ordered my MYP on 7/8 but I was never contacted by a sales advisor. Is this expected? How long since order did most of you guys get a SA?

I got an email with info on my SA almost immediately. They have also been reasonably responsive in answering questions.

Same exact range. Moving that front day out one day every day.

Same. I'm looking to do the similar for the MYP. May I ask why are you changing down to 20s for the rim? What are the benefits? I used to live in Ohio and would definitely opt for the regular MYLR wheel due to the extreme weather, but isn't LA/Socal perfect for 21s and summer tire?

For my wife's car (I thought I was originally buying for her and be done with EV, but somehow ended up getting a MYP) I did the exact for her M3LR.

- window tint (35% all around)
-painted red caliper
Nets out about $6.5K

Yes in SoCal the 21s are just fine but a few of my friends have MYPs and got the 20s plus cash on top for the trade for little better mileage and comfort.

I don’t mind the 21s but if I get little more comfortable ride, small mileage increase, and some cash on top then why not? Haha

For what its worth, I was finally able to get in contact with a sales advisor, who told me my soft match date was a 8/22 build, which would be a end of august/1st week Sept delivery. He did mention that this date was tentative.

You should get a vin very soon if it's anything like my experience. It kept pushing the first day back by one before the vin came up. I also switched from MYLR to MYP. Same specs. You have good taste!

Picked up MYP just a few hours ago via a contactless pickup! Car is damn near perfect. Just a few minor issues that I will raise with the SC tomorrow, however, no major issues whatsoever!

Hang in there folks! The wait, even if it is long, will be well worth it!

Total time from ordering to delivery was just a hair over 6 weeks. I think it definitely helped that it was a Bay Area delivery just up the road from the Factory. The car was built on Monday (8/2) and I picked it up today!
