Having the quickly removable chuck helps compensate for the inaccurate gauge.
You checked the gauge with the compressor off, right?
Good to know on the Amps.

BTW I found that I am able to use the compressor by powering it with the small Lithium jump starter that I have.
That makes it very portable.

Yes, with the compressor off.

I didn't think of using the compact Li-ion portable starter with it. That's a good idea. I have one of those, rated at [email protected], I think. Assuming those numbers aren't inflated, that's a good 40 mins of run time for this compressor. I will try that. Thanks.

I just added an EC-5 connector set that connects directly to the starter output so I can use the Tesla power port or the starter.
The starter could come in handy if your 12V battery in the Tesla bites the dust.

I would recommend using a Double Cylinders 12V Air Compressor Pump

Somebody gave me this for Christmas last year: Air Hawk Tire Inflator, As Seen on TV!!

I'm not sure I'd use it to inflate a tire from completely flat, but really works well for occasional adjustments. I have it in the cubby on the left side of my trunk, along with my jack pucks.
