Red Light on Universal Charger

I use the Universal Charger in a regular outlet to charge my Model 3. Last night I noticed a slow-flashing red light on the front of the charger (right above the lights that spell "Tesla" in green). I plugged in and charged overnight without any apparent problems, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what this red light means. Thanks.
