Refresh Model S driver’s seat creaking.

2022 Model S. Has anyone else experienced this issue? It creaks under the most gentle of accelerating or braking, or if I just push back into the seat manually. Driving me crazy… Just started doing this at about 200 miles on the odometer.

Not sure if it’s the same issue but on mine it was part of the seatbelt rubbing against the side of the seat. I put some self stick felt on the parts that rub.

I have the same thing !!! 2022 Model S, 5000 miles. It’s been driving me crazy. I’ve tried to spray everything with lube I can see without success. I had a mobile service visit and the tech tried to spray some plastic/metal connection deeper in the seat but it didn’t help either. I put in for another service. I hope someone has a solution on here.

I’ve tried adjusting to all heights and I still get the same sound as yours. Mine appears to be coming from the back left side of the drivers seat.

Grrr. So annoying. 100% of the time creaking when even gently accelerating or braking is truly maddening…!

I was at the SC the other day and mentioned mine was creaking. They popped it apart and tightened something in the lumbar area - now rock solid.

I have the same issue but in a 2015 Model S, and the sound is not as loud. Happens when accelerating from a stop (even gently). Would love to find a fix!

Please. I’m losing my mind here (as I imagine others are too). Did it take long to fix? Hopefully it’s something we can address without service…

Looked and they did do paperwork. They removed and reinstalled the lumbar support isolator.

Rough estimate of how long it took? I assume they didn’t have to remove the seat from the car? Did you have to bring it in or was it mobile?

I stopped at SC. Maybe 30 minutes - not sure. I think they left seat in car.

Wow yeah if it was about 30 mins then they likely didn’t remove seat (quite an involved process). Very nice. Thanks. Hopefully it’s the same issue others of us are facing and thus easy to address. Thank you.
