The 20in looks so good!! View attachment 740579
Agree…having some buyers remorse over the 22’s, but at the time, they were the best option. Thanks to others who commented about powder coating. I hadn’t considered that at the time. Hopefully Tesla will sort out the covers on the 22’s before I take delivery….not yet a VINner. In fact, my app still directs me to go to tesla account on the website.

Hate to say it but the new 22’s are downright ugly while the black 20’s rock
Yeah the two I saw at the Irvine SC with 22’s looked hot with the “missing” parts. I think I would remove them myself anyways.
With the new 22's, the X looks fresh and modern. The standard 20's look dated like on the previous model X. Elon just powder-coated the old style black - how original!

Yeah I had always planned for the 20s and powder coating them. When tesla changed them to black it just saved me the money.
Have 4 cans of “obsedian black” plastic dip ordered earlier this year sincerely trusting the September and then later November ETA that was originally promised(LR with 20’s).
While my cans probably won’t see action, feels good that I won’t have to take off the wheels or worry about peel off!

We got 22s with our 2017 X. They look great. But ultimately we had the 20 winter set on a good portion of the year, so we opted for 20s this time. I was gonna just get them powder coated but now don’t need to. Could care less about the minor range loss. I’ve never been on a trip where I’d care about that small dip in range.
