I hope you’re right and this fellow was wrong. But I was told as of last week they are only making black interiors.
I’ve seen a white interior refresh in-person. As well as plenty of posts with the white interior and cream. These employees are the same people who sometimes tell customers they haven’t started production. Some SAs are just clueless.

I’m buying this car for my wife and I’m genuinely concerned about her using the Yoke in an emergency situation. Car and driver has a really well balanced review of the Model S Plaid and talk about the practicality of the Yoke above and beyond it being a marketing stunt.

This really jibes with my general concerns. The fact that it was just put on there without a variable steering ratio further compounds my concerns.

Anyone else worried or couldn’t you care less?
Yes, I think there is some reason to worry. I had a plaid model S for about 10 days. I sold it for a few reasons, but, while the yoke was cool and I liked the visibility, I can absolutely think of situations in which a quick reaction may be difficult to perform without a full steering wheel. In the brief time I had the vehicle, I had one encounter that was a near miss because I couldn’t manipulate the wheel.

Total head scratcher in my opinion.

Here alone there have been multiple white interior deliveries 🤷🏽‍♂️
Those could have been made before last week. Look I hope the guy was wrong. I called the number last week before it got shut down. He told me my car was set to be produced in May. I asked how that can be? I was told I was priority since I ordered pre-refresh and then told I’d get it before Jan if I upgraded to 6s. I asked him how sure he was and if that could change. He said if I see it in my system it’s real. Then he said as of now they are only making black interiors and prioritizing California deliveries.

Just adding my data points. If we see white interiors continue to be delivered then I will be exceedingly happy. Hearing May as a scheduled delivery (my EDD is Feb) was brutal.

So its official :
I am picking my MX tomorrow !!
It is really unbelievable how you can go from February delivery to Vin and then the next day , " Your vehicle is already in the Burbank location and already inspected and ready for pick up ".. So unreal..
I will upload some pics after tomorrow. It is going to be pouring rain here in LA , of course I have waited over a year and it has to rain tomorrow 🤷‍♂️😜

Congrats.

And color interior and location. I’m also 10/2020 6s and I was told May due to my white interior and east coast location. According to the delivery specialist I spoke with they are only producing black interiors now.
That's a lie...in fact Black interior has been in the minority of those delivered...I've mostly seen Cream and White interiors

Five years old girl was doing fine with the Yoke

Just noticed the official winter tire/wheel package for 2021+MX is available now. Probably better order now before it’s OOS if needed
