This is the week, hear me out. if mass deliveries take place by the end of the year for 6 seaters as promised, (which I still think will happen) this will be the week we see big movement.
I think that we already have 3 new VINners plus our next hero in NY. The best news is that we're seeing VINners I'm NY, TX, and CA! Hopefully our Oracle returns to power and we have so many VINs w can't properly keep track.

You people.. have a designated SA?
Are we all reaching out to the same type of people? My contact I’ve been reaching out to for updates on LinkedIn says Sr Delivery Experience Specialist. His email signature just says Tesla Advisor.

My only 2 cents on SA/DA/whatever we’re calling them.. Tesla is not immune to the same issues dealership to dealership in the ICE model.

My first Tesla came out of Chicago when I lived in WI. Miserable communication experience back in 18. Hounded constantly to get the 2 delivery paint chips fixed. Follow up questions went unanswered. My friend got his Y from that same location. Same communication issues especially for follow up issues. He switched to WI service center and it’s moved quickly on issues.

Moved to MN, have worked with both centers around Minneapolis. Both have been extremely responsive. Best service experience I’ve ever had, Tesla or non Tesla there. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Does your mx have similar severe regen of recent Tesla without option to change it?

I just got my Y and regen when I let go of my pedal is so strong like crapsh*t BMW i3. My 18 model 3 had option to change it but Tesla disabled it here.

This might be a deal breaker for me.
On my Model X 2016 I had the ability to adjust the regen breaking. Also, there's a setting where you can allow the car to creep forward when you let off of the pedal from a stop. These couple of adjustments make driving our model X a lot more like a "normal car" for my wife. I however have learned to modify my driving style to one pedal driving and gently let off the accelerator pedal to slowly start decelerating. I have read from several articles that using regenerative braking in this way prolongs the battery life. It maybe something that you want to explore training your body to perform.

All I can say I am delighted to be rid of my nearly $100k 2020 Mercedes GLS450 and driving my wife’s Model Y instead.
No longer do I have $800 oil changes, $100 fuel fill ups, uncomfortable seats unfit for long trips, impossible to use navigation, voice control that cannot find anything, very loud road noise, an extremely irritating/humming singing noise on concrete highways, software collapses that shut off all safety features, meandering self driving, seat belts that grab you when going over bumps, ineffective air conditioning, lack of leg and head room, dizzying overly complex dash switches and goodies, windshield wipers that go on when it’s dry and scratch the windshield, dealer only software updates, dealer experience overall, and rip off lease terms, lackluster acceleration and mileage, topped off with overall boring styling to mention a few things.

Our model Y has no gaps, rattles weird road or wind noise or other problems at all. It does have so much the GLS never provided - amazing fearless gearless acceleration, overall driving comfort and style, quiet cabin, FSS and safety features that work, no service needed, I charge from the sun at home from my Tesla array. I love talking to other people about the Tesla tech and driving experience, sharing the future with them, something I never did with the GLS. I actually look forward to driving out on errands because it is so much fun to drive, I am not burning gas, not driving a lazy truck.

Waiting since February for my RED/CREAM Model X! I have the second wall charger ready in the garage attached to my Tesla solar array. I am driving with the energy of today’s sun, not the sun of the dinosaurs. Just as Elon and the good people of Tesla have imagined!

I foresee an even higher level of satisfaction with the X above the Y, plus the coolness of FWD and the other X tech!. So yes I’ll wait for my X, happy my ICE life has passed. ICE will soon be gone as will the legacy manufacturers.

So yeah missing a lot!
For me, a $100 fill-up would be a weekly reminder of why I needed to move to EV and charge from my home solar. So glad I made the move a few years ago.

I took a Model Y LR last week because I haven’t had a car for a few months and who knows when the X will come. I actually wanted and had ordered a Model Y Performance but had to refuse delivery a couple months ago because I was out of the country at the time of delivery. I had been waiting for another one but the date kept getting pushed back to late December. Suddenly I got a VIN for the MYLR I also had on order so I decided “a bird in the hand” you know. The day after I accepted delivery last week, the performance EDD moved up to November and low and behold, I got a VIN on Friday, one week later. I feel like it’s raining Teslas right now just never the one that I want. ☹️
Looks like I need to fly down to Vegas and take one off your hands.

@Fulkth , please do not envy us... We DO have designated SAs...but also, we have NO MX 😂

The day I placed my order (2/14/21) I received a call and an email from my SA... We chatted a few times over the first few weeks, mainly making sure that I had all of my questions answered so that I could complete my checklist... But once my April EDD passed, I never heard from her again. :(
Ordered last Spring, my SA name CASPER

Wow that sounds really nice. I got texted once 2 months after my order the Charlotte NC (where I will take delivery) salesperson saying thanks for your X order we will contact you when we get closer to deliveries for those who ordered before you.
I went into the Burbank SC and was able to immediately speak to reps there (3 had time to chat). So try goin in there...

I don't know how much of a geek you are (I wave my geek flag with pride) but here is a fascinating (read Nerdy) look at how Tesla innovates and doesn't even brag about it. Most people don't even know that improvements are made.
Yes, this is about the Model S self-presenting door handle, but there are many improvements like this.
Superfast Matt is the Bomb!

I agree... there are modules and other devices inside the car which are always being revised but my point is the basic external elements do not have regular incremental updates which might excuse the gaps, paint and general alignment fit and finish issues. The exterior quality is consistently in-consist. I wish the QA team that checked the batteries and motors also checked the paint and fit/finish or at-least re-trained they current team.

Regen is about the same speed of slowdown as a 3/Y. I don't see anywhere to adjust it either. I don't think Tesla is keen on giving adjustable Regen back.

Interesting (for us EU folks I guess?)

Elon mentions that the S is most likely due to arrive in March in China. Am I to assume that X will then start shipping around that time as well (and possibly; Europe?)

I would love to agree in you, but they will firts sypply american market, after that Canada and only after that Europe and other locations.

I expect them to take the same time span to bring the X in Europe, like the will take for the S, so they will take around 9 month for the S to came to europe, maybe around septembre we can see the first units in Europe.

I placed my order online and I never heard from anyone either via email or call or text... So I was never really assigned an SA... And then my local SC where I am scheduled to pick up my car got destroyed in a flood and is boarded up lol... So I can't even go in person to try and speak to someone or call.

My experience with the local SC is they know less than what we see in this thread. It seems like the "collective knowledge" of everyone's posts is definitely greater than what any of the local Tesla folks know. They are very nice and will tell you what they know, however, it's usually old news that I read here weeks ago. It's great to see the cooperation and knowledge transfer from everyone.

I've got a question that I hope someone can help with. There have been several posts that include screenshots from the Tesla mobile app showing a different look than I'm seeing. I've checked and am using the current version, 4.3.0-766, however, my view doesn't have any options and doesn't have anything related to schedule. Are others seeing the same thing? I'm thinking that I'm not alone, but since I've seen several different posts was just curious.

My MX was ordered 3/8/21, blue, 5 seat, cream with 22" wheels. I obviously have not received anything from Tesla related to VIN or delivery and haven't been able to get any updates from the person who contacted me after my order.

I'd be grateful for any feedback.
