Also, what's your VIN minus the last two digits.I have VIN assigned for my Model X (long range - ordered Dec 15 2020). Does that mean that I will get the delivery call in the next few days?

Thank you Stro!First off, congrats! Secondly, you should receive details on your delivery from your SA. For some in this forum, their delivery date is set for 3 weeks from now. So not sure if it'll be in a few days, but never know.
so how long is the wait for the plaid model x?

1000 difference, hopefully, should not be causing a huge delay.. If we assume that Tesla has 5 major "hot" spots across US, that leaves me with only 200 people ahead of me at Fremont. Hence, I would hope that I should be within a week from @Fulkth for delivery...Between your VIN and @Fulkth there is ~1000 serial numbers difference. He was assigned late October and you're assigned today. Interesting.
He was delivered his on the 9th of Nov. They are about to get super busy with deliveries, so you could see yours very soon.1000 difference, hopefully, should not be causing a huge delay.. It is my understanding that Vins are assigned to vehicles sequentially, but not necessarily to VINners in the same order. It’s always sequential.
You're correct. However, around 1000 cars have been made since the start of productions is what I can tell. We're a small little tiny fraction of the overall Tesla population. Which makes sense why we haven't seen that many. Out of the ~1000 cars, some of them may still be sitting in the field waiting for parts. But never know.It is my understanding that Vins are assigned to vehicles sequentially, but not necessarily to VINners in the same order.
Many many folks have spoken with corporate folks that said the first several thousand (all 2021 deliveries) will be 6 seaters. Expect Q1 of 2022 and you'll be happier.Where is my 5 Seater???? !!!! Grrrrrr... losing it here....
I’m being honest with myself and expecting q2 at this point for my 5 seater. Many many folks have spoken with corporate folks that said the first several thousand (all 2021 deliveries) will be 6 seaters. Expect Q1 of 2022 and you'll be happier.
I think it’s going to be a long wait for 5 seaters. They are exclusively doing 6 seaters right now and then it sounded like 7 seaters would be next.Where is my 5 Seater???? !!!! Grrrrrr... losing it here....
