I’m very happy to join this thread. You guys are so supportive of one another and genuinely are happy for each other when one becomes a VINner. I hope everyone here will eventually be congratulated to as that means everyone has gotten their long awaited X!

It’s exciting seeing more folks here get the VIN and others on Twitter and Facebook. Each one means one less person in front of the rest of us in line!

Also means they are finally delivering more than 1-2 at a time.

I hope it increases exponentially every week or better, everyday!

But I always wonder if they are just building the more expensive configuration first and that there is not a problem with the benches for the 7 and 5 seaters....

I called my insurance to add the vin. The 2022 X is so new that they dont have it on their system to give the quote. They will have it by Wed. Hope to finalize the financing by then to schedule delivery.

Is it showing up on the final invoice? I still have not seen it in the MVPA yet.

It will not show up until the final moment. It did not show up on my S and I asked. They confirmed and put it on immediately without issues.

Hey Friend! Just to set your expectations, no Plaids have been delivered or even assigned VINs. If I we're you, I wouldn't expect January to hold. It is just a placeholder that nearly everyone has (including people taking delivery in a couple of weeks )
The only MXPlaid information this collective waiting room has, was gathered from dozens of different SAs and Tesla corporate sales folks. Expectations are for Q1 for the earliest deliveries. Now keep in mind, this is just info scraped together from sporadic nuggets of info. I just don't want you to have your hopes unnecessarily dashed every time an MXLR becomes a VINner.

Sawyer Merritt just put on twitter that a possible leaked email from Elon to staff indicated not pushing for heroic deliveries for end of qtr. So may be more measured deliveries. Really thought we would see the normal push at end of qtr

Maybe the quality will improve some more too, not being rushed.

With the Benz sold and me driving a golf cart to and from work in colder and colder weather I can only dream of that cozy warm X cabin!

Spoke to rep on the phone today and he said the car is going through final safety inspections and then it'll be sent on its way. He also mentioned that reason for delays in general is that "they want to ensure they can deliver the safest cars."

Exactly same config except I ordered 7 seater but you are probably 6 seater right?

I'm planning to buy 3D MAXpider all weather floor mat. It's a highly praised brand and it may fit the refreshed X since there is little sign that they have changed the dimension of the interior.

Still trying to get an answer for this. Once i got a delivery date, i may order from Amazon and see if it fits.

I don’t know for sure but I don’t think there’s any way it’ll fit perfectly
