Good News after 351 days since my order I think I have a SA or I at least have someone at my local Tesla texting me that there is nothing to update about my vehicle. I’m grateful to have at least hear something. It only took me dropping off a sandwich to him saying I’d love to hear anything from anyone before I hit my 1 year anniversary.

I got the same message moving to the Kennesaw delivery location. I also have Blue 5/seater on order, hope they deliver on 5 seaters, I need the cargo space not the extra seats!
I got a text telling me I had been moved to Kennesaw last week. I replied asking them why they would do that when I live 3 miles from the Roswell SC. They moved me back to Roswell.

Funny how it’s good news to get basic bare minimum customer service from Tesla

With the discontinuation of the 5/7 configuration on the plaid what's the probability of it being discontinued on the LR too? I feel sick for not changing to 6 when I got the call in Oct but it's not what I wanted.

Ordered: 03/21/21 blue/cream/5 seater/20's/no fsd (side note my husband paid for fsd two years ago on his M3 and can't get it because his score hovers around 97. I decided not to get it for that reason alone.)

If your husband paid for FSD 2 years ago, he got FSD 2 years ago. There is no safety score requirement for FSD. There is a safety score requirement for the FSD beta, but that doesn’t keep you from using standard FSD

I can’t believe it. Happy for you.

I still have my vin. But no word yet.
Any idea when it was shipped up?
When I called last week they said mine was waiting likely because of the weather.
If you have a VIN they should be able to track it and tell you where it is at. Mine arrived in Renton yesterday and it seems like it is the only X there right now.

I want to share another part of my MX Plaid delivery experience for those of you who spec'd your cars with 22's and haven't yet picked up your cars. Not sure how useful this will be, but I'm passing it along, since others' observations helped me while I was still in the waiting phase of this process.

When they brought my car to the front of the delivery center, I noticed they hadn't installed the "slugs" that fit between the spokes of the 22" wheels. They're present in the configurator, and are installed on the car they used for the "Get to know your Model X" video in the portal. Turns out they're shipped with the car (in the frunk) in a box and it's up to the delivery folks to install them before delivery. My delivery specialist brought an installer to chat with me when I asked why they hadn't been installed on the wheels, and he explained to me that getting them on is fine, but if I ever wanted to remove them, he's noticed upon removal, the little tension clips tend to scratch the rims. For this reason, he left it up to me to make the decision (which I thought was pretty conscientious on his part).

See pics below. I do like the look of the wheels without them, as the absence has the effect of visually stretching the diameter of the wheel. Of course the little notches will probably bug me over time, and without the slugs, the wheel doesn't look as "finished". There may be some aerodynamic benefit I'm missing (fractional increased range being a byproduct), but that doesn't really matter to me as much as the aesthetic. For the time being, I think I'm going to go commando for a while. What do you guys think?

Wouldn't be surprised if they serve an aero purpose. Tesla would probably cover the entire wheel if people would still buy it.

They cancelled my Y perfromance order for the same reason (8/15 OD) but didn’t tell me. When I told them I didn’t want it cancelled and to restore the order, they said the manager would have to call me. Of course no one ever called. I haven’t done anything about it for a week because I’m just so tired of dealing with Tesla that I can’t bare to pick up the phone.
i just got a text again that my 3 will be auto-cancelled. I will email order support to have it delayed again. But will just let it go if it has to go even though i reserved it when it was cheaper..not sure I want another 3 right now. I have my eyes set on a larger car
