Refreshed 2021+ Model X and Model X Plaid waiting room

Yup my EDD changed. Looks like they bulk edited all the July to Dec-April. I was just about to hit my orderversary too.

If it doesn't change back by Monday I'm definitely headed into the SC to have a chat with someone...

Original order May 2021. Was holding July 2022 and now changed to Dec 2022 - Apr 2023.

I did make a change from 7 to 6 seat config back in March.

Today is 400 days from my order of my 5 seat MXLR, 20, black, cream with FSD and EDD changed to December 2022 to April 2023. Hopefully this is in error, if not, this may be the last straw.

This really blows. I’m hoping it’s a systemwide temporary reset but the cynic in me thinks that this is more of a long-term jump similar to what we saw earlier this year that changed the EDD to July. For new orders, LRs are showing January 2023 but Plaids are August - October of this year.

My delivery for 7 seats just changed from July to Dec 22 - Apr 23. Really WT?? That will be 2 years since my order pre-refresh

Our 6 seater order that is ~500 days old just updated to the same range.

Congrats. No hope for 6 seater holders. I see either plaid, 5 or 7 seaters. 15 + months and edd still shows August.

actually 7 seat orders are the worst, orders from 01 or 02/2021 are being moved to 12/2022-03/2023 EDD

Let’s hope something else is happening that’ll make it worth waiting a little longer. Updated batteries, more range? That’s a huge jump in delivery times. There will be more to this story for sure.

Here’s the upside to this delay : matrix headlights, swiveling screen, massage chairs, included premium Twitter accounts, upgraded batteries, consistent FWD alignments, more paint options, full reclining second row seats, etc.

I agree. I’m just trying to find something positive. It could be nearly a two year wait. I know some on here are probably over that. It sucks..I feel for the people that need a car now or worried about financing. We have a nice M3 we’re driving and don’t need financing for our new one. Not the case for others. Interest rates are continuing to rise. A lot of people will be hurt by this.

I texted Tesla and asked if the new EDD was in error. Their response:

“The current eta Dec 2022 - Apr 2023.”

It sucks..I feel for the people that need a car now or worried about financing. We have a nice M3 we’re driving and don’t need financing for our new one. Not the case for others. I'm surprised that responded so quickly. Most of my texts gets a generic canned response after 24-48h

My EDD also went from July to Dec 2022 - Apr 2023 overnight. I e-mailed my SA who I expect to receive no response from, per usual. This is getting insane.

So if history repeats itself, after the last major EDD delay to July 2022, Tesla continued to deliver cars and we will continue to see deliveries through this year, especially a ramp up in June. I write this and part of me thinks I’m delusional for hoping I may still get my delivery this summer, but I also grew up a Cubs fan so I have been delusional for most of my life.
