Refreshed model S Late 2021 sounds like an old box spring. Service?

Hey Friends,

I've owned my model S for a couple years now and it's an absolute pleasure to drive. I'm still in awe of it every time I get in. That said it's now very creaky. It sounds like getting into bed on a very own mattress on an old floor boards. I do remember some noises, but not like this.

Is this something service can take care of or is my car in spec?

Unless you’re out of warranty due to mileage, no reason not to have service take a look.

Probably dry ball joints in the front A-arms. Those are a Tesla specialty.

on my MS2021 I get a regular loud spring like sound from the front that I felt was related to the brakes - I had the brakes burnished once and that helps but the noice comes back...@tllmrrj what do think dry ball joints could be part of that too?

Might be your seat assembly. I have an appointment to get my driver's seat assembly replaced this week for a similar sound. They ordered it like a month ago
