Regen braking after 2022.44.25.3

I have noticed significantly less regin braking after this update at speeds above around 30 mph. Below that speed it seems to be normal. Anyone else noticing this

Are you sure is not the colder temperatures starting to pay a toll on regen braking? Is around that time of the year!

That's a thought, but I am confident that is not the issue.

Seems the same you mean you experience the same issue as the OP or do you mean that regen braking feels the same as before?

My wife drove the car today and immediately upon returning, she said that the regin breaking was significantly less than before. I don’t understand why this is happening to so few cars.

I noticed the same, but the colder temperature (and the appearance of the blue snowflake) suggest to me it is quite likely temperature-related, as already suggested.

I don't get a blue snowflake, but I get a green regen icon when it's colder out. And by colder, I'm talking about 45 degrees f or less.

We've just been through a very cold spell here in the NY/NJ area and my Regen braking was definitely impacted. I've been getting the blue snowflake on the app and the green regen icon on the car screen. It does get better after driving a little. Even when I'm preconditioning for departure at a certain time, the regen braking is impacted.

I agree. less regen for some reason.

I saw a suggestion in another thread that said, to toggle the breaking when cold on and off again to get region back to where it is supposed to be. I tried this today and it worked for me.

There is a setting that was adding a month or so ago:

Controls > Pedals & Steering > Apply Brakes When Regenerative Braking Is Limited.

JKad suggested you turn this setting on and off to restore full regen braking.

Why not just apply brakes when super cold UNTIL regen is back to normal, then we do not have to go in setting to turn it on/off?
