BYD Atto 3 Positively Surprises In Range Test
The BYD Atto 3, a C-segment crossover/SUV noted pretty good range (above WLTP) in Bjørn Nyland test at 90 km/h (56 mph).

The BYD Atto has received pricing in Australia. The interesting part I mention here is that two models are being sold that differ in pack capacity by 10 kWh. The larger pack model has an msrp $3,000 Aus higher, equal to $2,000 USD. This works out to marginal retail pricing of 200 USD a kWh for cells, presuming the rest of the pack is about the same cost.
VERY interesting, and extremely aggressive pricing by BYD.
I've thought for a while that cell commodity pricing will eventually hit $50/kWh and retail pricing will be $100/kWh. We are half-way there compared to my admittedly half-assed comparison of $400 USD/kWh I paid for extra capacity in a 2018 Tesla, which is amazing progress in a few short years.
