Anyone have any experience with this dashcam?

Looks like it connects through USB but would I be able to hardwire it?

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to hardwire it, there should be a positive and neutral wire like most other accessory components.

You should be able to hard-wire it to the spare port behind the grill above the rear view mirror. I successfully did installed dashcams on both of Model S. Here are some links:

This is how I hard wired my Roav C1:

The attached pic is how I connected it to the extra power connector with ease (notice the hot wire is connected to the dark green and the ground is connected to the black). Of course I taped the heck out of it before putting it back together.
I also had to shorten the 10ft of wire. Luckily it was just a red and black wire inside so splicing it back was easy peezy.
