Rock hit my lower front end

While driving on the highway I heard a loud knock and found this. Some of what you see is the PPF that was damaged as a result. The paint is damaged. Looks like a rock or something kicked up. How should I approach this repair?

Buy a new pre painted bumper

body shop to spray your entire bumper

Remove PPF and touch up paint the area.

Or just leave it. (probably best option). If you go this route you wont care about any more rock chips or other issues. Swap the bumper later on if you want.

That what I hate about PPF too. If the damage is big enough the money spent on PPF is down the drain too. Unless insurance covers PPF too

Not really. My PPF guy just cut a small piece off, just enough around the damaged area.

Insurance does cover PPF. Keep your receipts.
